We will be doing our 5:00 Friday potluck dinner at Living Water Fellowship as a "Grab + Go". The meal this week will feature a choice of stews, salad, and other sides, dessert, a juice box, and some extra snacks for the weekend. ANYone and EVERYone is welcome.

Our "drive-up food pantry" is on Saturday morning from 10 to noon, same location. You will not need to get out of your car...just pull up, and we will pack up what you need and bring it out. If you need food, know someone who needs food, know OF someone who needs food...please come pick some up, or contact us if there are transportation or timing problems. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for low-risk job at Stone Soup Kitchen Ministries!

Here's how you can help right now:

We are beginning to see people coming to the pantry who are distressed and embarrassed, because they have never needed help before. They are hurting, and they don't know what to do. There is likely to be a lot more "hidden hunger" in our towns right now. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to check on ALL their neighbors, even the ones you think are fine. Check by phone, email, or by yelling over the fence, but please do check! Remember that not everyone is online to see these messages we post. Let them know that the food pantry is "open" for drive-up (or walk-up) on Saturdays from 10 to noon.

Even better, come get pantry bags for them and deliver them to their porch!! We don't care whom you're getting it for, just that someone gets it who needs it. No ID, residency, or income requirements...just tell us how many people and any special needs. If you or they cannot make it on Saturdays, please leave a comment here (it will be private) or email us at the address below...we will work something out.  If you call, please know that there will be a delay, as we are not in the office regularly just now.

Saturday drive-up food pantry

We will be having our "drive-up food pantry" on Saturday morning from 10 to noon at Living Water Fellowship. You will not be getting out of your car...just pull up, and we will pack up what you need and bring it out. If you need food, know someone who needs food, know OF someone who needs food...please come pick some up, or contact us if there are transportation or timing problems. We all owe a deep debt of thanks to the Harvard Post Office, Ayer Shop n' Save, the Ayer Rotary, the New England Grassroots Environment Fund, and the entire local community...so many people who care about their neighbors! If you bring donations during that 10 to noon time period, please take them to the door with the ramp, not the door where people are picking up their bags (look for the sign). Other times to bring donations are Friday nights from 4:30 to 5:30 and Wednesdays from 10 to noon. Thank you, and we love you all!
