Christmas Dinner 2020

Good evening local friends! Well, 2020 is not going to leave us alone, even for Christmas Day!! High winds and possible power outages tonight and tomorrow. Please do not try to call, message, text, or email us to find out if the dinner is on. IT'S ON!!

Power or no power, it's on! So here's the plan...

Unless the power lines are down across every single street in town and we can't physically get there, there will be food available tomorrow from 1 to 3 at Living Water Fellowship, 41 Littleton Road in Ayer. If we lose power, we may have to amend the menu slightly, but I promise you won't know the difference :-)

Thanksgiving Dinner at Living Water Fellowship

Thanksgiving is coming up quickly, and we at Living Water Fellowship and Stone Soup Kitchen are planning our annual Thanksgiving Day dinner. We've done this for the past 6 years as an on-site potluck dinner, but this year the potluck is going to have to be a grab and go. We do have some limited seating for those who really want to stay to eat, but we figure that most people will want to eat at home. We're getting prepared for this!

We will have turkey dinners and pumpkin pies ready to be picked up on Thanksgiving Day, from noon to 3:00. The address is Living Water Fellowship, 41 Littleton Road in Ayer. Pull into the large parking lot, and come to the back door with the ramp. There are no ID, income, or residency requirements...if you need a meal, come get a meal. It's just that simple. You don't need to bring your whole family...you can pick up for all of them.

For those in town who want to help us with this specific meal, we thank you. We have already procured the food that we will need, but if you'd like to help offset the costs, we very much appreciate your monetary donations or gift cards to Ayer Shop n' Save.

Hurricane Isaias

Dear local friends,

With the uncertainly surrounding the path of the hurricane this week, we are cancelling our usual work hours on Wednesday at Stone Soup Kitchen. If you have donations for us, please hold onto them until Friday or Saturday, and thank you so much!

If parts of the town lose power, but Devenscrest does not, we will be able to open the church up for shelter and support. Please call Pastor Bob at 734-634-0910 if you have needs related to the storm.
